Summary0000857: Auto-build CTRLs build twice
DescriptionI often set my controls to auto-build one remains rebuilder but I've often seen a new command station build two instead of one. Maybe it doesn't notice that it has already started building one? This is on a 3 core CPU, if that might matter.

IIRC this bug occurs if the instant your comm station finishes building is also the instant the game checks to see if the right number of auto-build engies exist. It is a random timing collision that may be hard to fix.

I got tired of seeing so many dupes clogging up the bug report list, so I closed the extras, but a couple of them have savegames you can use for testing, Keith.

I've seen the same thing with all three ranks of generators. It almost appears to me that there's a significant delay between the first build and the second -- long enough that the level 1 generator finishes, usually, and does not get a second built for it. I'll see if I can get a save that does this.

Does the game check for units/buildings under construction? Its alsmost seems as if the game doesnt spot that those items are already being constructed.
(With auto-build on I didnt even see it as an issue as you soon will remember you have it on or not ;))

Also, it should be noted that if a system is under attack (and reactors are getting destroyed), it auto-tries to build new reactors, creating a mess of remains :P
