Description | Unlike the main fortress line, the AI superfortress does not get a nerf in range to compensate for its increase in HP. This may be intentional, but I thought I should bring it up. On a side note, the AI superfortress did not get the HP nerf the other AI fortresses got, though that again may have been intentional. | ||||

I gotta say though, this does introduce an interesting dynamic. It makes us humans face the pain the AIs face, a near full planet super-powerful defense. It almost makes the entire planet off limits to anything but bombers (and other things with polycrystal armor). Although this does mean a planet with a superfortress and a large number of standard fighters (or anything else that serves as a good counter to bombers) near unbeatable. |

Half fixed, with nerf to AI Superfortress health in the upcoming 5.021, but the range issue still hasn't been addressed (though addressing it could be as simple as an explanation of why they still have crazy range, unlike their normal AI fortress equivalents) |
