Necromancer Trigger: If a player has not invested in Totem tech after 10 minutes

My Liege, while are strength primarily lies in our offensive capabilities, we have access to powerful defenses as well.

Totems combine utility with defensive features. They all feature an ‘Orb’ of some type that orbits the Totem and offers a unique bonus. These are the Totems we can create:

Protective Totem: These create Orbs of Attraction, which defend nearby allies by drawing weaponfire to themselves. These are almost always worth getting one per Necropoloeis in close proximity.

Tachyon Totem: These provide wide Tachyon coverage to decloak ships. Their Orbs of Sight excel at taking out cloaked ships as well as others with high albedo.

Lifeforce Totem: These are powerful defenders as they fire vampiric beams to replenish their lifeforce. But their Orbs of Mending are their primary utility, as these offer faster repairs than even a Shipyard. These require 2 hexes to function, so these are best used situationally and are better suited in forward-facing planets.

Treacherous Totem: These powerful Totems can only be built by Defensive Necropoleis and cost three hexes, but they are exceptionally powerful. At a basic level, these act like Blackhole Machines, preventing most ships from leaving through wormholes. But their true value derives from their Orbs of Entropy which act like orbiting minefields, tractoring ships to be blown up by suborbital Necrobombs.
