Description | My friends and I recently played a multiplayer game of AI War II. I was the host, playing a human empire; two of the clients selected Ark Empires. It was a six player game in an 80 planet map; we wanted to play a shorter game. However, on the first three attempts to begin the game, one or both of the Ark Empire start positions was not in a clear sector but in a place with either or both of a mass driver and ion cannon. The arks, unupgraded and without any covering fleets built, were destroyed in seconds, leading to an immediate game over. This is clearly not ideal. | ||||
