Description | I've been generally unimpressed with the Treecherous Totem. Enemies typically drive right through it and the Necrobombs don't really hit anything, even when enemies are trapped by the tractor beams. After some testing, here are some changes that make them more effective, without (really) changing their on paper effectiveness Treacherous Totem Name="TreacherousTotem" Add tractor beam with AboveAverage2 Range Orb of Entropy attempts_to_reach_orbital_point_at_speed="5000" change tractor beam range to Normal5 Necrobomb orbits_parent_at_range="5000" degrees_to_orbit_per_second="10" attempts_to_reach_orbital_point_at_speed="5000" Add necromancy damage to self-destruct (e.g., <death_effect_damage type="Necromancy" tier_name="Minor"/>) Notes The Range Scaling Coefficient (0.80) causes weapon ranges to not match orbital distances, so you have to scale up. Increasing Rotation speed of Necrobomb causes the Necrobombs to hit the units captured by the Orb. Slowing the movement speed of the orbitals reduces the jerkiness of their movement. To calculate reasonable movement speed for orbitals: estimated attempts_to_reach_orbital_point_at_speed = degrees_to_orbit_per_second * orbits_parent_at_range / 57.3 Adding a tractor beam to the totem gives it a second chance to capture enemies before they get through the mines. | ||||

AI needs to be able to get in close to kill the Totem to take it out with normal ships. 2) Not changing the radius of the Tractors. The mines are perfectly aligned with the orbs's tractor beams, which in-game have a range of 3360. This totem is seriously op already but I love it too much to nerf it |
