This might be complicated to implement when it comes to spire cities. Can the existing algorithms handle "holes" in the upgrade path after a player loses a mid-rank city? What should happen to spire ships if the cities that support them are destroyed? |

The ships would be lost as well. If it's too complicated with Spire and that part has to be abandoned, no biggie. Deathwish is in 'if it's fast to do great, otherwhise don't worry about it' territory. |

I want to clarify this as I think the original language was made when Lone Wolves were still a thing. What I would propose at this point on that front is just that all of the Officers/Golems are treated the same - reverting to transport form. This would probably simplify matters as well. |

Could be implemented by a modder, but this is out of scope for me at the moment. Trying to focus down on my todo list, and I think we're to the point where the modes are doing what they should for most people. |
