Description | I love the new champion class, and especially the customisation aspect of them. However, I was disappointed at how little was done with the abilities. It's cool that one ship has a different base ability than the others, and there are additional abilities you can unlock from nebulas, but with no control over it, it seemed a bit frustrating. What I was thinking though, was if each time you complete a nebula, in addition to al the stuff you already get, you get 1 ability or shadow point. This can be used to do one of four things: 1) Increase your maximum shadow capacitor by, say 200. I was surprised this didn't happen as you got larger ships. 2) Increase your shadow capacitor recharge rate by 1 per second, probably more because that's bad. 3) level up one of your abilities. The projected shield is amazing in early game, but anything with a couple hundred tech 4 ships will obliterate it in seconds. 4) unlock a new ability. Possibly require multiple points for this. With this system and perhaps 1 or 2 more abilities, the champions abilities should become far more versatile and interesting. | ||||
