Summary0009814: Persistent overall stats for each profile.
DescriptionIdea 1
Overall stats compiled from each game (or maybe only finished games) detailing:
Metal harvested
Crystal harvested
Enemy ship kills
Enemy buildings killed
Own ships lost
Own buildings lost
Etc.
Etc.

Idea 2 (requires idea 1)
Persistent Bonuses to Harvest rate / Weapon damage / Etc. based on your profile's overall stats.

Example: (disregard my numbers used... play testing is necessary to determine actual numbers to use for balance.)
Weapon bonus damage % = enemy ship kills / 10000
(every 10000 kills you get 1% bonus to every ships weapon damage)

Reasoning:
Of course since this may not be for everyone I would expect this could be a toggleable option in the campaign creation screen. The overall reason for this request is I personally enjoy the feeling of knowing after completing a game that next game I will be slightly stronger (not game breakingly stronger but maybe enough, in the case of AI War, to bump the AI up to X.1 instead of X.0

Persistent stats are awesome, but bonuses from them? No.

To help my understanding can those against let me know why you are against bonuses if they are toggleable at campaign creation? Host would therefore be able to disable the bonuses for not only himself but all players.

Is it the temptation to use the bonuses?

Or that you may choose not to use the bonus and therefore a player who does gets a higher score?

Strip the bonuses, and make it a pure "for fun" stack tracking, and I would support this.

Having bonuses will promote fake play to get those bonuses so that you always have the best chance of winning.
