Summary | 0009617: NPC ships Targeting Carriers
Description | Lately I have been playing with lots of non player controlled ships. Such as the Dark Spire, Marauders, Resistance fighters, Dyson Gatlings, and Zombie Ships from the botnet. For the most part their interactions have been good. Except when there are carriers around. Many times, even with other targets to be had they gun down the full carrier. Releasing all the ships inside. If it were just one or two it would be fine. But they have at times killed 4 or more one after another causing all sorts of massive ships to happen. This is actually killing me in my current game. I can't pass the wave due to my zombies destroying 5000 ships worth of carriers on top of the many ships already active. Could something be done to alter the targeting for these non player controlled things. I want to determine when a carrier must die. Not a targeting folly from my allies.

For 5.085: * Made "what can I autotarget?" logic more consistent so that player-ally minor factions don't pop AI carriers. Thanks :) |
