Description | If we don't have this in place already, we would like to create trigger points on a sub-level screen that cause scripted events to take place. Currently, scripting may only occur when you first enter a sub-screen. These new triggers could exist as specific x-y tile coordinates, or as a ranged area for the player to pass into. Examples for use include storytelling aspects, such as character conversation, and for action sequences that involve NPCs, introduction of additional enemies, and sometimes the alterations of the environment itself, such as a bridge the player has already crossed being destroyed. | ||||

After reading some of the script for Willis and then re-reading the Script Help File, I realize that we already have coordinate-specific triggers in place. I will leave this issue open for now so that functionality can be revisited, just in case tweaks or improvements are necessary. By the way, the bombs that Willis drops are invisible. Also, I wonder if we can have shallow water SFX play when he walks across water tiles? |

Oh, I missed that we already had this. :) In terms of his playing the sound effects on shallow water, it should have done so simply by nature of him crossing there. It may have been a temporary thing in the older version, not there. In terms of the invisible bombs, that was an older issue as well. Please one bug report per ticket, but all these should be long gone anyhow. :) |
