Description | The difficulty of lieutenant towers and missions that involve microbosses is heavily dependent on the type of microboss involved. Weaker microbosses such as bats and espers tend to die in a few hits and present very little challenge. More powerful microbosses such as Clockwork Probes and Skelebot Centurions, in addition to being challenging, are very tedious. They have more health than most minibosses and almost as much as some lieutenants. I'm fine with some microbosses being more difficult than others, but this is too extreme. Even if you manage to dodge their attacks forever, an Umbra Vortex mission with lots of high-health enemies takes way too long.
I suggest reducing the health multiplier for microbosses and giving them an amount of extra health that depends on the level but not on the enemy type. It seems appropriate for the weakest microbosses to have approximately the same health as strong normal enemies (such as clockwork probes), while the strongest microbosses have approximately the same health as minibosses. |
