Summary0009193: more rally post options
DescriptionCurrently, with only two rally post types in game, if different fleets get sent to the same system, they'll all group up on the rally posts and get mixed together; forming the infamous blob.

While control-groups do allow a player to maintain and separate these fleets afterwards, when it comes to reinforcing those fleets with new units it can become a tedious process where a player selects a blob on a rally post, selects the type of ships he wants to separate and moves them to join his other fleet.

Space docks aren't always an option for automatic fleet separation upon reproduction/reinforcement because a player is limited in the number of spacedocks versus the number of different ships types/tech levels available. On top of this, a player usually sets the production of spacedocks to attempt to balance metal/crystal cost rather than by ship type and tech level (or at least I do, maybe I'm not representative of the player population as a whole). If any of those ships that are "separated upon production" are sent to a different system, they will rally to the same rally posts as every other ship type; re-creating a blob(or blobs if multiple rally posts).

With this in mind, I suggest the following new rally post types as ways to more easily separate ships post-production:

1) "Tech level" Rally posts - rally posts that ships only rally to if they are the correct 'tech level' (IE Mk1 ships to Mk1 rally post, Mk2 ships to Mk2 rally post, etc)

2) "Fleet Ship Specific" rally posts - Rally posts that ships only rally to if they match the specific fleet ship type (IE, a rally post for "fighters" of any mark, or alternately a rally post for "zenith bombard ships" of any mark) (these should only be available for ship types a player has unlocked)

3) "Max number" rally posts - rally posts that all ships rally to until there are "X" (50, 100, 200?) number of ships within a "Y" radius (3000, 5000?) from the rally post; at which point the rally post 'deactivates' (stops rallying ships) until the number of ships within a "Y" radius is below "X"; at which point the rally post "re-activates" (starts rallying ships).

4) Super Bonus option - "Advanced" rally posts - allow a player to pick and choose under what conditions ships will rally to the rally post (might have to utilize something like the "ship design" tab to set options/save designs). This would allow, for example, a rally post to only 'collect' Mk3 ships that are either "zenith bombards" or "missile frigates" until the rally post has 50 ships within a 3000 range radius (at which point it stops rallying ships).

Ideally, this super bonus option could also have the super super bonus options to rally ships based on "attack range above or below a certain amount", "attack power above or below a certain amount", "speed above or below a certain amount", specific "hull type", specific "attack multipliers", etc. Perhaps these super super bonus options are excessive: but that's why they would be considered super super bonus options.

The three rally post options above (ignoring the super bonus option for now) wouldn't just allow a player to separate ships; they would also allow clever players to improve their 'automatic defenses' when they send fleet-ships to their own worlds (IE, a player could have fighters rally closer to expected avenues of attack than missile frigates, or lower mark ships rally closer as a whole than higher mark ships, etc).
