Description | By "optional bosses", I mean the ones that show up randomly in buildings or on surface chunks, outside of missions. These are pretty rare, and currently there's no real reason to go into those chunks; on rare occaisions on the surface, there might be reason to go further into the area, and thus pass through the boss chunk, but in buildings in particular, there seems to never be anything beyond the boss rooms, so there's no need to bother with them. Right now they only give a meager shard reward, but I figure, since they're pretty rare as it is, why not have them drop an arcane ingredient upon defeat? It'd be exactly one, and it'd be one that is normally found in the area (so using the same lists as the stashes). Or perhaps an uncommon/rare orb. This'd make these actually worth doing, and worth the risk that they present. | ||||
