Summary | 0000904: Scout Auto-explore Mode isn't cleared when a normal move order is issued.
Description | Currently, the only way to clear the Auto-explore mode of scouts are to alt-click them and choose "Stop". If you issue a movement order by right-clicking somewhere, the scout will go there and then resume auto-explore.

Noticed this just now in 4.029. I had to use the End key on each scout to stop them switching back to auto-explore. As auto-explore doesn't leave a scout in each explored system this adds to the level of micromanagement scouting requires. |

Keith, was this already fixed? |
|
No, not yet, I need to make any ClearCommands call clear that flag if it would clear other commands, I think. Also need to make an enable-auto-explore toggle on the settings screen and have it default to off so people don't see the command option without seeing the toggle's tooltip (which will explain what it's actually for, i.e. not replacing manual scouting) and choosing to enable it in that light ;) |

This should be fixed as of a few versions ago :) |
