It does? It was half way through my playtime last night with 5.045 came out so I upgraded twice that evening. Both times the default AIP was reset to 1 every 5 minutes for me. |

Changed the version to 5.042, since that's the version where I had a completely fresh install with all the expansions and it had a default that did not match the tooltip. Updating to current didn't change the default number to match tooltip, but it might just save what you last had or such instead so I'm not sure there. |

Hmmm, when I updated from 5.045 to 5.046 it did not reset the AIP default which is different then the previous patches for me. Not sure what's going on here. |

Is the fix on this to change the default, or to change the tooltip? Personally, I think 1 every 30 sounds like a better default anyway. |

Originally 1 per 5 was how the game was intended for a normal game. But players didn't really like it all that much and 1 per 30 became the standard, and has been for a year or more. |

Mick: I'm not really sure what's best there, but it was clear that they should agree =) Hearteater's description sounds like what I'd expect the situation to be, so it'd simply be a matter of changing the tooltip text. |
