Description | This would make maximizing the mini-map more feasible, since currently the bigger it is, the more of the screen it covers, hiding things (such as enemies, or projectiles) from view. Even at its smallest size, the mini-map hides some stuff from view.
The simplest solution for this would be to simply make the default mini-map translucent. One step more complex would be to make there be a simple toggle between a default (how it is now) and translucent mini-map. For futher complexity, the toggle could also turn the mini-map off (which some players may want, for example in boss fights - this level being what I would prefer). Even more complex, perhaps players could toggle between different shades of translucency; and at the most complex (actually more complex than I'd prefer), there would be a slider where players could set just how visible they wanted the mini-map, from 0 (turning the mini-map off) to 100 (making the mini-map as it is now). |
