| Description | The Hidden Tutorial message for reaching the world map includes a line that says something like "You can visit the overlord at any time, but it's not a good idea yet." I also understand that it's kind of one of the ideals of the game: the final boss is never locked away until you do the right things - but is instead always reachable, provided you can make it to them in one piece. In the spirit of this, maybe overlord keeps should be made to always generate in a region that the player can access from the start of a continent. I recently started a game where the overlord's keep was on an island, across some turbulent water - and lacking any wind shelters or the shards to buy some wind shelters, there was no way for me to reach it at the start :( | ||||

You can still get right over there if you wish, simply by grinding shards if that was your idea of a fun time. In other words, you wouldn't have to increase any levels or anything to go give him a go. |
