| Description | There are a few instances of this I can recall happening, but again given the ever so 'lively' nature of the AVWW multiplayer community, I haven't had much chance to thoroughly replicate what exactly causes this. So I will list off the instances when I can recall it occurring. Disconnecting and reconnecting will restore functionality. 1) During the course of the Intro mission, I was unable to chat until leaving the designated 'Intro' area and enter into the settlement. (Unrelated?) 2) Dying can sometimes disable your chat funtion, possibly due to high latency situation. 3) I've had instances and reports of the 'E' key becoming unresponsive after death for a period of time. (Related?) 4) I have suspicions that the unresponsiveness has happened as a result of changing rooms/chunks. Again, maybe a result of lag? If anyone else, or if I can find a way to reliably replicate this, please chime in. | ||||

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do without a reliable repro. Does anyone know how to make this always happen? |

I am also getting the 'E' key becoming unresponsive after death on my new 1.2 multiplayer server, but NOT when you select "Abandon Character". It becomes unresponsive for about 30 seconds. Still occurs while connected to the server locally. All my server members reported this, including myself. It happens everytime. |

I don't know how to get this to occur, though I've encountered it several times, but I do know a method to resolve it. Pressing ESC to bring up the main menu, then closing the main menu has worked for me every time. |
