Description | Before the player had `activated' the survivor to be rescued, the survivor will run back and forth awaiting rescue. A combination of factors caused the survivor to run all but 100m from the quest beginning, allowing for a trivially easy rescue. I imagine these factors were: (1) It was a building rescue mission, so the map was horizontal. (2) The random number generator was generous with a *very* long stretch of even floor. (3) Monsters may have been pursuing the survivor, so that they kept running away instead of returning to the end of the corridor. | ||||
