| Description | Overlord of 2nd continent was buggy / textures weren't loading properly and there were error messages showing in the chat box. The boss was still attacking me and he was attackable though, so I killed him. However, as soon as he died, the game crashed. When I logged back in, I was on the map screen and it was acting like I defeated the boss - however, I never got to claim any of his loot :( very upset I did that whole continent and didn't get any boss loot for it. | ||||

Sounds like that "I am running out of heal space" crash from a while back, in part due to Mono cruddy garbage collector. Basically, when it is about to crash like this, certain images may start failing to load, as you noted. About the "recovering from a semi-inconsistent save state due to crash" issue, not sure what to do about that. Maybe something like databases do with some sort of transaction log or something, or would that be too complicated? |

When you start getting error messages like that, the game tells you to stop immediately or you're at risk of losing progress. That's basically what just happened. Stopping and reloading the game would have solved the problem and you would have had the loot. We do our best to keep memory consumption low, but we've been through and through this one and I've not seen anything else we can do with it at this time, unfortunately. |
