Summary0008580: Peeking into a room should not give up invincibility
Description1. Enter a door
2. Don't do anything in the room; just go back
3. Enter again

Result: invulnerability disappeared

This is never what I expect, even after having it happen to me a dozen times.

Why do I peek in and out of rooms? Maybe it looks scary the first time. Maybe I notice something in the minimap. Maybe I don't see anything interesting in the room, and then realize it's the only way to proceed.

I understand why the game normally requires 10 seconds of absence before restoring entering-room invincibility. I don't think changing this case would reintroduce those exploits.

Yea, so long as the invincibility isn't broken from when you entered until you go back, I would support that exception to the 10 second rule.
