Summary | 0008560: Improved Buildings
Description | Now that buildings have a passive effect along with their profession benefits, it would be nice if they could be improved (giving a bigger passive benefit when improved.) Improving a building would require the relevant guardian scroll, and those guardian scrolls would not appear unless you have the building already (either in unbuilt scroll or as a built structure). Only personality buildings would be able to be improved, and each would have 2 "levels" of improvement; the second level would require the first to be built. First level improvements would require profession 4 to buid, and second level improvements would require profession 5. Improvements can require linen and lumber (and other "construction" materials) to build as well as cedar logs and granite. The suggested multipliers for the passive benefits are x2 from the basic for the first level improvement, and x3.5 from the basic for the second level improvement. In addition, with these improvements, improved buildings still count as the basic building (and as the first improvement building if built up to the second level) for the purpose of personality buildings. In addition, some survivors will require improved buildings as their personality structures rather than just the basic versions; suggested probabilities for personality structure requirements are:- 28.6%: Both basic 33.4%: One basic, one first improvement 20.1%: One basic, one second improvement 8.2%: Both first improvement 8.1%: One first improvement, one second improvement 1.6%: Both second improvement
