Description | Had this one happen a few times, generally with smaller bosses like the Brimstone Cyclone or the giant wasp. Where they spawn in the sort of spot where they only barely fit or immediately get stuck, leading either to a very easy exploit for the player, or a nearly impossible to win fight that may require abandoning the mission. Attached screenshot is a great example of this happening. It doesnt happen all that often, but it's not a super-rare situation either. | ||||

If you have a save of this then that's something we can investigate more. The trouble is that the boss is probably seeding just fine -- on the cliff above. And then the boss -- quite validly -- jumps down into the hole. Well, it would be valid if there weren't water in there, since the water makes the boss unable to jump back out like it otherwise could. So there's something that we can do here, but it's one of those little tricky things with the non-flying enemies. With ones like the giant wasp, that may have been fixed recently with the "no bosses allowed" areas working better. Not sure. |
