Summary0008280: Spawning Grounds Mission - reduce the number of monsters in a room before their spawning rates become too high to deal with
Description"A stash has been found in the middle of a monster nest. Fortunately, clearing out enough of the monsters will end the nest's ability to spawn as well as freeing up the stash to be gathered. Unfortunately, until only a few monsters are left the nest will keep spawning more and more monsters as long as you remain present."

This mission can either be Building or Underground.

The mission is won by reducing the number of monsters in the room to 1 / 5 to 2 / 5 (depending on difficulty) the quantity of monsters in the room at the start of the mission. In a sidebox, the number of monsters remaining and the target quantity of monsters are both given.

The mission has a spawn timer (which is given in a sidebox) that counts down from 20 seconds; every time it reaches 0, more monsters are spawned, the timer resets to 20 seconds and the spawn multiplier (also given in a sidebox) increases by 0.2. (The spawn multiplier starts at 0.4 at the beginning of the mission.) When monsters spawn, the number of monsters spawned is equal to the number of monsters currently present x the spawn multiplier.

This mission would use similar rooms to those in Fix The Anachronism missions.

For a possible "unlock" path, this mission could be altered so that the spawn multiplier starts lower and then increases as more Spawning Ground missions are completed, to allow for an "ease in" (since there is currently not a lot that require pure damage-per-second output at the moment.)

I like the idea, but I think it should take place in a tighter space than the Anachronism missions, giving you more incentive to use traps and piercing spells.
