| Description | apparently there is a subspecies of the nightmare octopus and the jellyfish that no one until recently has seen. That is the ones that are native to the lava flats. Just finished a fix anachronisms mission in lava flats in which killing nightmare octopi and jellyfish counted as native monsters for the mission. | ||||

According to some people on a server I mentioned it to, ocean areas were Wild Garden Age time zone, but based on the patch notes, I thought that was changed to Time of Magic. However, even before it was changed, there were medieval NPCs or something like that coming from there. So, the monsters are probably still considered Wild Garden Age(but from the ocean) while the NPCs there are not. |

Ocean shallows were previously Contemporary and were later changed to Time of Magic, but regular ocean regions are Wild Garden Age. That's why aquatic creatures count as natives in the lava flats. |

And the ice bats thing is undoubtedly migration. |
