Description | Perhaps a series of enemies that split into two smaller version of themselves upon death with 1/2 HP as the previous incarnation. Would want to limit to 2-3 splits before the smaller versions die for good upon death. Alternately, have a swarm of 8'ish enemies that 'join' with each other upon death; making the surviving creature slightly graphically bigger/gain HP with each of his buddies that die; with the creature dying for good when he has no buddies left to improve. These mobs should probably fire projectiles whose damage scales based on where they're at in the split/join process: smaller/less HP = less damage per projectile. | ||||
