DescriptionSo with green amoebas, you hit a main boss and he splits into a bunch of different smaller creatures that can return to the main body to heal it. The following idea is kind of a reverse-green amoeba.

There could be a boss that is composed of a bunch of small bosses, loosely grouped together, and when the smaller bosses are hit they add health to a bigger boss in the center of the 'swarm'. The 'swarm' of smaller bosses should re-position itself to be between the player and the bigger boss, without leaving the very close proximity of the bigger boss.

If a person is using piercing spells, the bigger boss in the center will never gain too much HP, but if the person is using single hit spells, they'll have to fight the boss with roughly twice the HP by the time they burn through the swarm.

The bigger boss in the center should fire some kind of series of projectiles whose damage scales based on how much HP the bigger boss has (possibly with a minimum damage when the boss hits his spawn HP).
