Summary | 0007737: Less randomization for character generation
Description | In the spirit of what x4000 has been talking about on the forums with removing upgrade crystals, I think at the same time you should just totally revamp character selection. The reason for this is because it feels foolish to just keep abandoning a character until you get the stats you want. It does have that kind of fun (for a while) slot machine feel that games that do that sometimes do, but it gets more annoying than anything else very quickly. I propose that instead, we get to pick an age that we've unlocked and it has some base stats, and the way those ramp up with the upgrades you're going to give us paired with the base stats keep the variety for each race while allowing us to have the stats we want without sitting there killing characters for 5-10 minutes.
