Summary0007581: Amoeba bosses in multiplayer can cause bad lag
DescriptionThe Green Amoeba boss will spawn a ring of amoebas every single time it is hit by an attack. If even a couple of players try taking it on at the same time, it can quickly spawn hundreds of amoebas within seconds. This causes extremely bad lag, hang ups, slowdown, framerate loss and so forth.

The problem is worsened especially if said players are using rapid fire spells or have cooldown reducing enchants. What will typically happen is that players will rush in, and attack it for maybe a second or two. The game will hang for a few seconds, and then later they will discover their characters are dead and the room is completely filled with green globs flying around.

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great boss that forces players to learn that they need to reevaulate their strategy. But I don't think having the game lock up on them is how to teach them ;)

Anyway, perhaps if the boss had some limit as to how many globs it could spawn per second, the performance issue wouldn't come up.
