Are you talking about the enchants like diluter enchants and seeker enchants? Because since 1.002: "Most enchants, when dropped, are instead (after player confirmation) "reabsorbed": - Reabsorbing an undroppable enchant gives you 10% progress towards the next enchant, but this process completely and irrevocably destroys the reabsorbed enchant. There is no way to undo this, and so should only be done with enchants you'll never need again. - The basic light-emitting enchants, seeker, and diluter enchants can still be dropped (and cannot be reabsorbed)." |
I'm meaning basic enchants, example minor light enchant. Just seems odd to leave an item lying around when there's now a shop system in place. |
Minor light enchant is one of the ones which can't be reabsorbed. I'm assuming it's to prevent (new?) players from accidentally getting rid of the wrong enchant. Though it was a bit strange to leave the noob light enchant lying around when I found a better one. I'd like to see the minor light enchant be re-absorbable. |

I think items obtained from coffers (The chests that auto-refill) should not be droppable. So, you can't drop platforms, you can't drop crates, and you can't drop moderate light enchant. Or rather, if you drop it, it explodes, because seriously, nobody wants that cluttering up their settlement. I always use the warp room as a trash can just so the items don't show up on my map, but that is sub optimal. It's such a weird concept to want to throw things away when your inventories are that huge, but I can't stand clutter! |
Same with spell drops, they clutter too. Like why would you pick the spell up again if you dropped it? Just go back to the crafting machine. |
I have needed to drop spells twice, once to give to a friend who had accidentally dropped his (why _he_ dropped it is unknown) and to get rid of RtL before a JtP. Neither of these cases are necessary. I like the "things go poof" when you drop them, |
