Description | The premise of the missions is that something is about to destroy the continent - maybe it is a massive meteor, or perhaps whatever crazy time-explosion occurred to make the world the way it is will happen again soon. When you accept the mission, you would have to collect a piece of *something* - perhaps this part behaves like survivor-rescue mission - but when you return to the world map there are three other 'sub-missions' spawned randomly that you have to complete within a time frame to collect 3 other parts of this thing that you're building (maybe it's an anti-meteor space laser...or some kind of giant anti-time-shift-thinger). Upon the completion of the mission you'd get your reward, plus a giant laser/time stabilizer/'whatever saves the world' as part of your settlement structures. Kind of like a way to get a nice, visible trophy saying that you completed a tough mission (aside from the regular structure scrolls, of course). As far as what happens if you fail - i'm a fan of the 'continent gets destroyed' mechanic, but less punishing options good be something like more lieutenant towers appear, or some of the worldmap tiles change. | ||||
