| Description | As above. If you disable the custom cursor and enable the OS cursor, you get no cursor at all. Well, it's there, but you can't see it. If you mouse over things that have a tool-tip, the tool-tip will appear, but otherwise, you have no idea where your mouse is pointing. This makes it very hard to go BACK to the custom cursor. | ||||

Hmm, in 0.931 I can't duplicate this. Can you retest on that version when it comes out? |

Yeah, I can duplicate this in .931, but, I figured out why, and it's not directly AVWW related. Actually, this is because of another ATI Driver bug. So, I've been having an issue with this card ever since I hooked a second monitor up to it. Basically, every so often, the mouse cursor will get messed up on the primary monitor. Sometimes switching the cursor between monitors rapidly will fix it, but usually not. So, what I found out through some research is that if I run Windows "Magnifier" (the program that magnifies the area around your cursor for vision impaired folks) in the background the cursor is fine, even if it's not actually magnifying anything. So, now it turns out that apparently AVWW doesn't like it when Magnifier is on, and it won't show the OS cursor. When I close Magnifier, all is well. So, IMO, this is a non-issue, as I'm the only known case of this, and I can just turn off magnifier. :) |
