Summary | 0007011: Stuck in Urban Crawler | ||||
Description | I exited the house seen on the screenshot (the door is hidden by the Crawler) and was invincible while the Crawler rolled over me. I then moved, and got shifted upwards, getting stuck. I couldn't jump or move. Quitting to menu and reloading made me invincible again, letting me fall down through the crawler, and the next time I moved I was shifted sideways to freedom. | ||||

Same thing happened to me upon leaving a house in solo. I didn't think of anything clever to do though and just shot it, upon which the ridiculous explosive damage insta-killed me. |

Same thing happend to me several times (in MP) while stormdashng across the screen :P |

Yes, twice while stormdashing, I got stuck in a crawler, one of the times, I somehow penetrated to dead center on it, and got killed when it blew up. |

I quit the game on top of urban crawler and got stuck inside. |

This actually happens to me rather frequently, and it caused many deaths when I first started playing because I would just kill the crawler and die to the death explosion. One of the other players on my server discovered that if you drop crates under your character, you can escape, so that is what we have been doing. |

Thanks! * Players no longer collide with urban crawler's top armor plating, which thus keeps players from getting trapped inside urban crawlers. |

OH THANK GOD! Now I don't have to live half my life in the Crawlers anymore like I did before. xD Just this has made my day...I mean the new enemies sound cool and all, but this is gonna be the highlight of the patch for me when it comes out. :) |

Glad to be of service! It took a while to figure out what to do for this one, which is why it took so long to fix. I kept mulling it each day until I thought of what to do in the code finally. |

I was worried that this fix would have broken the ability to jump on top of and ride the crawlers, but that still works! Even better, because the armor plating stops piercing now you can ride them for longer, as it's not just a quick two-whip kill from above! Nicely done. |
