Summary | 0006964: Temporal Shift Mission
Description | I came up with this idea as I was doing a few missions and thought "Hmm for a game about intersecting time lines, why don't I have a mission of stopping a time shift from occurring?" The idea here is a mission that's timed longer then any other mission it's rare and does not increase CP. the mission needs to be challenging as for the purpose to what it will do if left alone. it would also spawn many mini bosses, and a variety of other creatures inside the mission. This mission if failed does not leave the world map, and can be reattempted until you either pass it, or it runs out of time. If you are unable to stop the temporal shift the region the mission occupies in will "shift" into a new region. Perhaps even with higher tier monsters? This could really add that immersive feeling that the world is in constant temporal stress and the effects of the cataclysm are still around. The thing that's special about this mission is deciding not to do it could open up a new area to explore, but also cause further monster migrations do to the change. I also think it should happen anywhere even at Wind shelters (minus the overload and lieutenant towers and the player home base). This could provide a way for the player to decide if it's worth while to stop the shift, or let it be to try and open a new area to explore. Feel free to add your thoughts!

Far post 1.0, I could see this being stitched into something really cool, perhaps as a post-overlord final mission. Eventually you could return to a finished continent and do some large operation that would stitch the whole thing into a normal place where there's no wind and time flows in a linear fashion, making the whole continent safe for human settlement. |

This sounds really cool, I hope that the 'story' elements yet to be added will not conflict with this. |
