Summary | 0006952: Fatal error in Sp world after entering an Ice age building stash. Not sure if memory leak.
Description | As I entered a stack in an ice age building, My entire interface disappeared. I could still move around, so I went to the exit building teleport and ported out. When I arrived outside the chat log stated that my world had received a fatal error. Below are the crash details from my file, hopefully they help.

That's just a garden variety crash, usually. Can you look in the Runtimedata folder and see if there are any error logs in there? |

Looking at this, it looks like your machine may have run out of a certain category of RAM: Error occurred at 2012-03-29_092830. C:\Program Files (x86)\AVWW\AVWW.exe, run by Archenium. 66% memory in use. 0 MB physical memory [1617 MB free]. 0 MB paging file [0 MB free]. 2048 MB user address space [72 MB free]. Write to location 000fbfc1 caused an access violation. Basically, disabling your paging file is really not a good idea; especially when you only have 2GB of RAM. I suggest using a statically-sized paging file of half your RAM size, or 3GB max, and you'll get better performance in general in your OS when a lot is going on, as well as not having programs crash when they need more memory than your OS wants to give them. As with the two related reports of this, basically the only folks that get this are those who disable swap (although the dragon fight one was actually kind of different and actually a bug). Hope that helps! |
