Description | When doing a battlegrounds mission, when i go in all the towers are invincible (shots pass through them as if they arent there) both for me and for the allies. When i move back to the exit terminal, wait there for a bit for it to load to disk then move back in, sometimes it works again and i can hit the towers. That said, the sometimes is very iffy (this worked only once for me so far). I still think it might just be Toll's server, but atleast now i've posted a bug report where it belongs. edit: starting to think that one time was a fluke, i cant get it to happen again | ||||

Keith, I know you solved this before, is there anything else that could be causing this sporadically? |

It is actually pretty consistent for me, though it doesn't appear to happen for others (unless i somehow get involved, even by simply being on apparently once). Actually, i'll see what happens if i try it under a different name. And now the buggers arent spawning. blegh |

Okay, tested it under a different name, same result. Enemy towers were invincible to me and the allies present. |

Had this issue in three seperate Battlefields today, back to back - could not get the towers or base to ever become un-invincible. |

Based on the mention of the server I'm assuming this is all multiplayer, right? Or are there any singleplayer cases? If it's SP it'll probably be one kind of bug. If MP, probably another. |

For me it's all MP. I'll see if i can queue up some SP battlegrounds later today. |

So far haven't managed to reproduce it yet in SP, but i will continue attempting to do so. That said, i didnt start testing till today thanks to unexpected RL complications. |

For 0.926: * MP: fixed an apparently-longstanding bug where stationary entities (and possibly moving entities, but probably not) were intermittently never being entered into the spatial partioning system on the client, and thus could never collide with anything in client-side collision checks. This caused all manner of difficult-to-reproduce tomfoolery like "battleground towers that all our shots just pass through harmlessly" and "guardian stones that I can't interact with at all", etc. Whew, finally found that one! Goodness, that's been a pain in our sides for a while, I think. Thanks :) |
