Description | I updated to version .918 (from .915) and backed up my world before loading. Once it finished backing up, it gave me a fatal error and kicked me back to the main menu. I then restarted the game and tried loading it again and it did the same thing. I've attached the UnhandledErrors file. Wow your world is still so massive. It's comprised of 32,070 individual files. That's got to be some sort of a ridiculous kind of record. |

Thanks... * Fixed a deserialization bug with missions that was new in 0.918; so older worlds will now load properly. That's the good news. ** The BAD news is that worlds saved in 0.918 might now be corrupted or unpredictable in the new version. If someone runs into any issues with that in the new version, the easiest thing is to go back to a backup from 0.917 or before (0.918 has been out hardly at all anyhow), or you can send us your file and we can see what we can find in the morning. ** Sorry about this, folks. Apparently we were off our game today; we take this sort of thing very seriously, and really try to avoid losing your data at all costs. But we did build the backup feature in there just in case, as kind of the last line of defense if we screw up too badly. That doesn't happen too often, but it does happen. |
