Summary | 0006707: Chunk without an exit
Description | I'll give you the whole run down of what happened. I went to a desert chunk to complete a mission (boss tower). The mission door was right next to the entry point and I quickly completed it. When I used the mission exit, it dropped me in a region next to the one I started in (to the right of it) which happened to be a secret mission region. This chunk had no exit. So I decided to run to the other side of the chunk to see if maybe i got dropped on the wrong side when entering. Once getting there I found that there was no exit to the chunk. Attached is the save in which I'm trapped in the chunk.

I'm confused. When I run to the right side of the chunk in the save you posted, I exit to the world map. When I go to the left, it takes me further into the region and to the inevitable dead end that all surface regions have. Am I missing something, or is it doing something different for you? |

o-o weird, the chunk had no exit. The furthest right side was showing as a secret mission region with a dead-end and the furthest left was a normal region with a dead-end. When I get home I'll reload the save and see if it fixed it's self. I had to use a scroll to get back to the world map. |

Ok, so I think I know what happened... and it points to me being a retard. When I entered the chunk, the first region was a secret mission region (which I didn't realize). I had a mission on it (door was right next to the entrance) and immediately went into it and did the mission, it dropped me on return at the secret mission entry point. That causing some confusion (cause I remember what it looked like when I entered and having that not be the same as the exit, I mistakenly thought something wonky had happened). Regardless, I thought it was blocked off and I must have been mistaken ><. I did show that regular missions started on secret mission regions will drop you at the secret mission exit point instead of the regular mission entry point which is rare and not gameplay impacting at all. |
