Summary | 0006683: Emergency Heathstone
Description | I'm stuck (see attached). It would be nice to have a way to escape, that would also not trivialize mission difficulty. In order to not trivialize missions, I'd suggest the following options: - takes 20 seconds to take effect - Aggressively spawns nasty creatures from all doors in the current chunk (that would ideally despawn when you escape) Alternatively, something that just checks for a path to an exit, if you have those capabilities.

And no, I don't have greater teleport. Lesson learned. |

Getting stuck like that is just a bug at the moment, once that's fixed that won't be possible. In terms of escaping the mission, you can abandon it at any time in the escape menu, but then you have to start all over again. The good news is that you don't have to abandon your character and choose another. In terms of a more general "emergency escape" function even outside of missions, that's what the ultra-rare elusion scrolls already do. |

I can't seem to find such a thing. Am I simply blind (see new screenshot)? I've poked at this for a while; my character has like 9 upgrades, so I've been trying to avoid abandoning him. |
Elusion scrolls are items you find very rarely in stash rooms. If you have one, it would be in your inventory. Your only option without one in this scenario is to abandon and pick a new character. On the plus side, upgrade stones are ridiculously easy to stockpile, so you should have plenty to buff your new character back up to full. |
He said he was in a mission. In those instances you can abandon the mission without abandoning your character. |
Hmm. That is, most definitely a mission (it even says so on the ESCAPE screen), but there is no "Abandon Mission" there. I also entered a mission myself just now, and there was no such button for me either. Isn't it supposed to be on the Esc menu? |
Mea culpa! We actually took away the abandon mission. That was way too much of a "get out of jail free" card. Just abandon when you're about to die, and then no consequences, etc. |
