Summary | 0006640: "AI response to hacking" window refuses to go away
Description | I updated to the 5.030 update and loaded a save from 5.029. I immediately noticed a popup in the top left: "AI's expected response to further hacking: very low." I've never done any hacking on this save and this popup will not disappear. I made a new game and this popup wasn't there, so I assume this was unintentional.

Can you attach the save where you're getting the alert message? Thanks :) |

My apologies, I forgot! Of course. |
|
Please don't "fix" this. Having the hacking response information without committing to starting a hack is very convienient. At least have some way to tell without actually hacking. Especially when the window reads : Forest Fire (Extreme). Perhaps a controls option. |
|
I haven't played for well over a year, so I had just assumed the permanent report of hacking was intended. It probably makes the most sense for its visibility to be always on by default, though an option to only show it while hacking is in progress would be a possibility. |
