Description | Most boss rooms are designed as arenas with maybe a bit of unusual terrain but a few look like they were designed to be entire platforming levels (possibly for PvP combat). That seems out of place and doesn't work terribly well as there's way too much dead space in them and bosses can end up being inside the small corridors where you can't really fight them well. Plus they produce tons of enemy spawners and getting to a red amoeba with three clockwork probe spawners is practically impossible. | ||||

Personally I think the variance is really cool. Most of what you're talking about were player submissions. |

Wow I think Chris was hovering over the close button! For what it's worth, I agree that some of the rooms don't work very well for some bosses. You end up with crippled dragons or skelebot giants stuck walking back and forth in a little pit at the bottom while the rest of the room is wasted. But perhaps the new AI changes next patch will alleviate this somewhat. |

I think that will help some, but also we've found that sometimes having a boss in a really enclosed space (bottom of a pit, etc) can present a surprising challenge). |

It's fine if you want different boss fight environments but some of those rooms look like they're meant to be entire levels and just don't play very well. |

I don't entirely disagree with you in some cases, but, this ticket as it is, isn't really actionable. If you have specific suggestions on how we can improve specific rooms, we might be able to make changes based on those. |
