Description | as title. This was against tier one enemies\spawners so enemy tier being to high is unlikely to be the issue. But yeah, flat out does nothing. no matter how close the effect is placed to the spawner it will still spawn.... as a possibly related question are monsters supposed to spawn from the spawner itself? because they don't. | ||||

For 0.905: * Fixed a bug where a monster spawner suppressed by Douse Monster Spawner was still counting towards the chunk's population cap. Now the cap will be properly (if temporarily) reduced due to suppressed spawners, and if all the spawners are suppressed in a chunk then new monster-spawner-caused spawns won't happen until at least one spawner is no longer suppressed.
