thats a feature - the idea being 'oh the <key> is being held down for no reason', and you press it to undo it. alt tab, for instance.. |

Incidentally, how long is it supposed to take for this to happen? In my testing it takes a seemingly random amount of time between half a second and four seconds. |

It should always be about 3-4 seconds, but due to the inaccuracy of the type of clock we're using for that it might vary a bit. If it's only half a second, then most likely it was because you're then holding down a different key. It keeps track of the time since any key has been being held down. |
