| Description | As far as I can tell, ice pirates affect you the same if you're in the region they're hovering over or one of the regions next to it. Shouldn't the red box around them cover all the regions they affect? Otherwise, it seems like you might as well just have the icon. | ||||

The red box means "currently affects you." When you are in range, you get a red box. When not, no red box. |

Fair enough; I find it kind of odd. But I guess it's not the most important thing. |
