Summary | 0005501: Force Fields under fire change colors
Description | Since Force Fields can't be repaired while under fire, and this spreads to other Force Fields, it might be helpful to new players (and old ones) for the shield to change colors when it is in its "no repair" state. This would server not only to make it clear how this affects layered Force Fields, but it would also make it immediately visually obvious when a Force Field is under fire, and when you've managed to get everything off it.

Perhaps a symbol like a ! over the forcefields may also be helpful to indicate non-assist for shields that are affected but under construction. |

I'd like to propose a rider to this bill: Also differentiate shields that do not reduce the damage of outgoing fire. Right now we have a blue and a light blue for FF not(permeable) to enemy ships. Perhaps a give a green tint to FF that do not reduce outgoing fire. Shields under attack could be tinted an amber shade. |
