| Description | (I'm actually running 0.556) When I acquire a snow or heat suit and then right click it to use it, my character does an animation and I hear a sound like I equipped it but nothing actually happens, and I continue to be damaged by heat/cold. Attached is my world. | ||||

This is an odd one. When I test out suits in a test world, they work just fine, but when loading the posted world, they don't work. |

I'm betting that those specific suits are of an old kind and didn't get upgraded properly. There were a couple of versions a month ago or so where that was an issue. If you just dump those snowsuits and pick up a new one, it should work fine -- Josh, can you verify that? |

I can find out. Are they seeded in lower level regions? Or do I have to go looking for them on level? |

Yeah sorry, if I'd caught the note earlier I would have clarified. I first found the issue a couple versions ago when I found a heatsuit in a desert house and tried to equip it, it didn't work, I figured I had done it wrong or something. The snowsuit in the player's inventory was picked up a few minutes before I uploaded the world, from a house in a region I had never visited before going in to find the snowsuit. So everything should have been generated recently. |

Thanks! * Fixed a bug from the last few weeks where any new snowsuits or heatsuits that were picked up would not be usable. ** Those nonfunctional ones will need to be discarded, but any new ones picked up in the new version of the game (that were not previously seeded in older versions of the game) will work fine. In other words, go to a new building you've never been in before, and the snowsuits/heatsuits in there will work. |
