This is caused by some other process locking the files that the game is trying to write to. This could happen if you have an ongoing backup program that is trying to sync them all the time as you play; aside from causing lots of network waste (because the game updates these files really frequently), it will also cause this sort of thing. If it's not a backup program, then it's something along those lines with antivirus or similar. Simply not having other programs scanning and trying to copy or otherwise mess with this folder while the game is running is the only way around this; when the game is running, it assumes that no other programs are going to be preventing it from getting access to its own files! |
