Summary | 0005259: Data might be saved too often in MP servers
Description | I'm not sure if this will be an issue or not, but it might be worth keeping an eye on. I noticed yesterday when players on my servers were trying to take down the lieutenant (I think was the case) that the world and region files were being saved to disc every few seconds. While it certainly wasn't an issue in that case (most, if not all HDDs should manage to keep up with that) it might become problematic if there are more people on the server, especially if the host is currently doing something else HDD-intensive. Perhaps setting a limit to how often data can be saved to disc (at most every 5 seconds or so) might be needed to allow a single server to be able to handle 20-30 people at once (I don't think RAM or CPU will be an issue, as I'm constantly idling at about 5% CPU and 250M ram).
