| Description | Running the server on my computer. Connect and everything is fine. Exit AVWW and launch it again (server still running). I cannot connect to the server anymore, it says I am already connected. Used both connect to IP and Scan LAN, same isssue. | ||||

It seems it's because characters never leave the world. Change your name in the network settings, and you'll be able to reconnect as a new character (which I realise is completely uninteresting in most cases). |

It really does let you in if you change your username first? That's very odd, as the refusal is based on a matching customer ID, not matching username. |

It did in my case, at least. There should still be both a default and a Toll in the beginning of the intro in my world. |

Also, assuming the world-file says what I think it says, I've got two characters in there with the same customer ID. |

Right, both of your characters have the same customer id, but different usernames. That's fine; the server only complains if you try to have them both connected at the same time. |

Did another test, and yeah, I can definitely confirm it. Can't connect with default as my username, nor as Toll, but renaming it to Toll the Second let me connect. |

Ok, the server's probably just mocking me then, business as usual. |

Ok, there were a bunch of bugs related to this, but I think I've got them fixed for 0.546, thanks :) |
