Description | Repro steps: 1. Pause the local chunk or stand in a safe area (settlement, wind shelter, etc.). 2. Open the F3 debug info. 3. Don't touch anything for five minutes. Expected result: Constant framerate. Actual result: Framerate drops over time to very low values until any input from the user. In five minutes, I went from 43 FPS to 0.7 FPS. | ||||

But then when you start interacting with it it goes back up to normal? This sounds like some sort of internal throttle-down that the unity engine is doing when you're not interacting with the game, or something like that. Or possibly it's something in the background in windows, I don't know. In either case, I don't know that it's anything we can do much about, unless the number of draw calls in the F3 menu went unepxectedly way up over the 5 minute period or so. |

Whoops. I forgot about my distributed computing program. It grabs the GPU when the computer's idle, but it never seems to kick in when I leave other games running fullscreen. |

Ahhhh, okay. Very odd, but good to know what it is. I'm sure it would do that with any unity 3d engine game. |
